WAIVER AFTERMATH · WEEK 6

Your Claim Missed. Your Next Move Hasn't.

The sampled claim market moved. Check your own transactions and wire, then choose a role-fit pivot without chasing someone else's winning bid.

01

Claim-night price check

The sampled YAFSB Week 6 Results panel displayed 74,724 bids from 6,359 Sleeper leagues when checked around 7:15 PM CT Wednesday; its reported scoring mix was 72% PPR, 26% half-PPR and 2% standard/other. Its all-format winning-bid median and 75th percentile of starting FAAB were Woody Marks 14.2%/22% (770 leagues with a bid), Germie Bernard 10%/16% (3,902), Brenton Strange 5%/10% (1,305) and Dameon Pierce 7.3%/13.4% (2,888). These changing platform-selected observations are not recommended bids or evidence of your local result. Earlier Early/Results denominators conflicted; do not mix those with this later all-format snapshot.

Tuesday's Waiver Edge was a pre-claims plan. This is the conditional recovery plan after that sampled market moved. The live Week 5 rankings are not Week 6 advice; the separate reviewed initial Week 6 selected-case file does not establish your league's wire or final inactives.

Fantasy Leftovers: search, don't assume availability

Default search order below; move a needed position ahead of an unneeded one. At approximately 10:50 AM CT Wednesday, native Sleeper roster rates were Woody Marks 59%, Brenton Strange 48%, Keenan Allen 31%, Dameon Pierce 11%, Efton Chism III 7% and MarShawn Lloyd 58%; a later sampled panel differed modestly. Neither identifies your wire. No current native ESPN or Yahoo post-claim rates were recovered.

1Woody Marks · HOU RBCHECK WIRE · ADD IF FREERB need or useful depth. David Montgomery was Wednesday DNP, not ruled out; check final report and the split.
2Germie Bernard · PIT WRADD IF FREEReceiver/Flex need. Roman Wilson and Ben Skowronek out; high immediate opening, uncertain duration.
3Brenton Strange · JAX TEADD IF FREENeed at tight end; his two seven-catch games are not a guaranteed pace. Week 7 bye.
4Keenan Allen · IND WRADD IF FREELower-cost receiver/bye pivot. Wednesday DNP was veteran rest, not a fresh setback.
5Dameon Pierce · PHI RBCONDITIONAL ADDSaquon Barkley and Will Shipley Wednesday DNP; neither had a final designation. Do not price every vacated touch.
6Kendrick Bourne · ARI WRCHEAP DEEP ADDReceiver bench swing; five catches last week do not remove target or QB uncertainty.
7Efton Chism III · NE WRDEEP STASHA.J. Brown limited Wednesday; monitor whether the route opening persists.
8Tyler Higbee · LAR TETE FALLBACKMonday routes and six targets support a check, not a durable guarantee.
9Pat Freiermuth · PIT TETE FALLBACKReceiver absences can create targets; two touchdowns are not a baseline.
10Aaron Rodgers · PIT QBNEED ONLYCompare with a healthy rostered 1QB starter; more urgency in superflex.

Separate check: MarShawn Lloyd is worth a wire look or a hold if already rostered, but neither 58% native nor 57% sampled roster rate proves local availability. His two Week 5 touchdowns do not guarantee every-down work or a Josh Jacobs return date. Isaiah Likely is a transaction-log audit only: no verified local mistake drop exists.

03

Pivot by the hole in your lineup

RB: If Woody Marks is gone, check Dameon Pierce after Philadelphia's next report. Saquon Barkley and Will Shipley were Wednesday DNP, not Sunday inactives. If either clears, lower Pierce's urgency. Evaluate MarShawn Lloyd's distinct Green Bay role only if locally available.

WR: After Germie Bernard, Keenan Allen is a short-term catch pivot; Kendrick Bourne is a deeper swing. Efton Chism III is a stash while A.J. Brown's limited Wednesday practice leaves his role contingent. Allen's rest day is not a fresh injury opening.

TE: If Brenton Strange is gone, check Tyler Higbee and Pat Freiermuth, while planning for Strange's Week 7 bye. QB: Aaron Rodgers is situational; keep a better healthy 1QB starter, and compare two-QB scarcity in superflex.

04

The reports and the mistake-drop audit

The Texans report listed David Montgomery DNP (groin), strengthening Woody Marks' immediate opportunity without ruling Montgomery out. The Steelers report ruled Roman Wilson and Ben Skowronek out, supporting Germie Bernard's route opening while Michael Pittman Jr. remains on IR. The Eagles report listed both Saquon Barkley and Will Shipley DNP. The Patriots report listed A.J. Brown limited, so Efton Chism III's role needs another check. The Colts note identified Keenan Allen's absence as veteran rest.

For a mistake drop, inspect your own transaction log, then compare a reclaim with the cost and legal roster spot. We verified no named Week 6 local drop or successful reclaim; do not turn an anecdote about Isaiah Likely into one.

05

Trade, hold and expiration

No inspectable completed half-PPR trade with full assets, league context and timestamp was recovered. No named Trade For package or universal price is warranted without independent current ROS value, a legal before/after lineup and the partner's needs. If wire pivots fail, holding a spot or making a modest short-term add can beat paying a panic premium.

Hold a useful temporarily unavailable core player such as Saquon Barkley or Josh Jacobs when a legal bench/IR plan permits. Do not automatically cut the player whose return can erase a Dameon Pierce or MarShawn Lloyd rental. Drop only a demonstrably expendable second defense, redundant 1QB backup or lower-role bench player after live-wire and bye checks.
