Week 4 Health Check: Saturday Lineup Pivots

Puka Nacua has no designation and reportedly no planned preset snap cap, though conditioning remains a variable. London is locked. Replace confirmed absences in unlocked games and reserve real alternatives for questionable late receivers.

Week 4 Health Check full decision scorecard

The players ruled out are the easy calls. The harder ones are whether an available player has his usual role and whether a questionable late receiver leaves you a legal replacement. Keep eligible late players in FLEX where useful and set healthy earlier starters in fixed slots. The replacement Week 4 projection model remains blocked with zero certified players, so this update offers conditional actions, not newly certified ranks, point projections or workload totals.

The order follows decision time and lineup risk, not a new ranking. An estimated inactive check is about 90 minutes before kickoff; use the official release when it arrives. A team backup is not automatically your best fantasy substitute.

02

London is locked

Jayden Daniels, Rachaad White, Terry McLaurin and Indianapolis receiver Keenan Allen were inactive on the NFL official pregame list. Sit decisions are now historical, with no remaining lineup swap. Washington announced Marcus Mariota as starter before kickoff, then he exited with a right-knee injury and was ruled out; Athan Kaliakmanis replaced him. Do not treat the prior Mariota contingency as current Week 4 advice. In-game usage does not retroactively certify any pregame projection or target transfer.

03

Noon: confirmed absences and one workload question

Breece Hall is out with a quadriceps injury. Sit him; Braelon Allen is a need-based RB/FLEX cover while Isaiah Davis may retain receiving work. Caleb Williams is out for Chicago. The Bears have not officially named a replacement; NFL Network reports Tyson Bagent is likely. Confirm the actual starter and account for receiver efficiency uncertainty. Baker Mayfield is out for Tampa Bay; the Buccaneers say Jalon Daniels starts. He is a Superflex/2QB emergency option, not a default one-QB start.

Philadelphia is without DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert, Marquise Brown and tackle Lane Johnson. Sit the unavailable players; no remaining Eagle inherits their targets one-for-one. The Rams' final report says Puka Nacua practiced fully Friday and has no game designation. A Sunday report says the Rams plan no preset snap cap, although conditioning will be assessed in-game. Rams game-day active status was not independently verified by the 10:45 AM CT cutoff. Hold and lean Start against fringe alternatives; if a substantial restriction is reported, favor an established healthy WR/FLEX. Davante Adams remains an established Rams option, not the automatic recipient of a specific target total. Check the pregame report before noon CT lock.

04

The afternoon receiver trap

Justin Jefferson is out for Minnesota's 3:05 PM CT game. Sit him; Jordan Addison has an opening without a guaranteed transfer of Jefferson's targets. Mike Evans is questionable with a ribs injury for San Francisco, and the team describes a game-time decision. Ladd McConkey is questionable with a foot injury for the Chargers. Both games start at 3:25 PM CT. Hold an established healthy WR/FLEX option in that window or later. If you have none, take the credible healthy noon or 3:05 PM option before that player's own lock. If Evans or McConkey is active, check expected routes and limitations before treating active as a full role; if out, sit and replace.

05

Seattle has a vacancy, not a featured-back promise

The Seahawks ruled Jadarian Price out with a chest injury. Zach Charbonnet returned to practice but cannot play from PUP until Week 5 at the earliest. Sit both in Week 4; do not drop either solely because of this one game. Seattle identifies George Holani and Emanuel Wilson as the backfield options, and Velus Jones Jr. joined the active roster Saturday. Holani and Wilson are need-based deep-league Add/Hold or emergency RB/FLEX considerations. Their carries, routes, two-minute and goal-line roles are unverified; compare a healthy established back first and confirm the actual active group before the 3:25 PM CT game.

06

Night and Monday choices

Jalen Coker is questionable for Carolina's 7:20 PM CT Sunday game, with Xavier Legette ruled out. Keep a legal late WR/FLEX alternative only if one exists; otherwise start a credible healthy earlier option. Travis Etienne Jr. went on New Orleans injured reserve October 1. Sit him and use eligible fantasy IR. Alvin Kamara is a need-based RB/FLEX check, not a proved all-down successor. Atlanta–New Orleans starts Monday at 7:15 PM CT, so do not wait without a legal fallback.

07

Weather, model limits and next checks

The Sunday National Weather Service forecast near Philadelphia allows light showers through Rams–Eagles with modest wind; no supported numerical passing downgrade follows. Houston-area thunder is being monitored. Reliant Stadium roof status remains unverified; direct field exposure depends on the roof decision. Monitor official stadium and delay updates, including any lightning delay. The all-game pregame weather review found no supported numerical adjustment. No locked London decision is being rewritten from results.

Evidence and model note: Official league designations, linked club reports and transactions establish the status facts. Conditional replacement actions are Fantasy Football Brief judgments. No new rank movement, statistical projection, beneficiary workload or FantasyPros file is certified by the blocked replacement model. Sunday's official inactives, actual reported restrictions, Seattle's active backfield and Monday's final statuses are the next authoritative checkpoints.
