Sunday Final Call: Week 5 Lineup Decisions

London has locked. Official noon inactives settle the receiver availability calls; afternoon McConkey remains a report-led pivot.

Week 5 Sunday Final Call receiver pivot board: Chase, Higgins and Jefferson available; Addison inactive; McConkey still a reported afternoon outlook

London: the 8:30 AM CT decision

The Eagles’ 7:05 AM CT game-day report also confirmed Jalen Hurts and Dallas Goedert active. Its URL says “week-6,” but the article and official schedule identify this October 11 game as Week 5. Saquon Barkley, DeVonta Smith and Hollywood Brown were OUT. The club preview expected Will Shipley to start with a heavier role, while Dameon Pierce could contribute and Carson Steele joined the active roster. Before the 8:30 AM CT lock, Shipley was a conditional Flex or emergency RB2 rather than an automatic upgrade over a healthy higher-board back. On the reviewed October 10 scoped board, healthy Bhayshul Tuten preceded him; Shipley narrowly preceded David Montgomery, Tony Pollard and RJ Harvey centrally, but a smaller role reversed those close margins. London is now locked; these are a record of the earlier decision, not a new start instruction.

02

The start cases—and the estimate limits

Breece Hall and Kyle Monangai are out on their Jets and Bears reports. START Braelon Allen as a Week 5 RB2 and START D’Andre Swift if their own status/role remains intact. Isaiah Davis and Roschon Johnson still have modeled work; absence does not assign an entire backfield to one replacement. The reviewed scoped interim v23 board supports both starts, but Swift’s precise high-end estimate has LOW confidence: its retained Chicago play/rush budget is optimistic, and a lower-rush sensitivity materially reduces his projected volume and points. Start him for the opportunity, not a promised point total.

Lamar Jackson is OUT and Baltimore named Tyler Huntley its starter. SIT Jackson. Huntley is Superflex cover, not an automatic one-QB swap. Caleb Williams is questionable, but Chicago named Tyson Bagent the starter even if Williams dresses. SIT Williams for Week 5; Bagent is deep Superflex cover. No fresh Sunday numerical rank movement or team-guaranteed workload is asserted.

London · 8:30 AM · LOCKEDSaquon Barkley, DeVonta Smith OUT; Will Shipley was availableHistorical pre-lock call: SIT Barkley and Smith; Shipley was a conditional RB/FLEX option, with Dameon Pierce and Carson Steele also available. No new London lineup action is possible.Official London inactives verified 7:14 AM CT; kickoff was 8:30 AM
Noon · 12:00 PMJa’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins not on Bengals inactives; Vikings confirm Justin Jefferson available and Jordan Addison INACTIVE. Terry McLaurin not on Washington inactives; hamstring workload still uncertain.START Chase, Higgins and Jefferson if no credible pregame restriction. SIT Addison; USE an eligible WR replacement. McLaurin is available, but compare a possible snap-limited scenario with a healthy alternative. START Braelon Allen and D’Andre Swift if their own roles remain intact; preserve separate Kamara, Jeanty and Stevenson pivots.Official team lists published 10:30–10:32 AM CT; monitor pregame workload guidance

Updated Sunday — noon receivers: Cincinnati’s official six-player inactive list does not include Ja’Marr Chase or Tee Higgins; both are available, though active does not promise a full role after their injuries. Minnesota’s official list marks Jordan Addison INACTIVE and says Justin Jefferson is good to go. START Chase, Higgins and Jefferson absent credible pregame limitations; SIT Addison and use a separately eligible WR. Washington’s official list does not include Terry McLaurin; he is available, but a reported potential snap count on the hamstring creates a distinct reduced-role scenario. Do not treat his active status as a guaranteed WR1 workload; compare a healthy alternative. These are availability calls, not numerical rank upgrades.

New England’s official noon analysis confirms Rhamondre Stevenson and Raiders back Ashton Jeanty active, but neither active designation guarantees a full workload. Corey Kiner could gain a conditional New England role if Stevenson is limited; Mike Washington Jr. remains a conditional Raiders alternative if Jeanty is constrained. Neither inherits every touch. Check Alvin Kamara separately against the Saints’ official list and pregame workload guidance. Compare reduced-role scenarios with healthy options; keep distinct legal pivots.

Updated Sunday — afternoon: Ladd McConkey was questionable on the Chargers’ Friday report, but NFL.com attributes to Adam Schefter a report that he is not expected to play. PREPARE an eligible WR replacement and SIT him if official afternoon inactives confirm OUT. The report alone does not make him officially inactive. Check around 1:35 PM CT; if no legal late fallback exists, use a credible healthy earlier option before it locks. Zay Flowers is confirmed ACTIVE for Sunday night; the earlier inactive-contingency instruction is resolved. Active status does not guarantee his normal workload. Keep the latest-starting eligible player in Flex where permitted; Thursday options are locked.

Weather, ranks and the next checkpoint

The initial Sunday official refresh covers all 14 remaining games. The Met Office’s Sunday London outlook was dry, 14–15°C with 1–2 mph sustained wind and 4–9 mph gusts. The NWS MetLife T−90 refresh has 88–100% rain probability, 12–13 mph sustained wind and roughly 17–20 mph grid gusts, eased from the earlier 22–25 mph gust forecast; Washington retains 65–80% showers with later thunder risk, and Pittsburgh’s shower probability ranges from 21–94%. Arizona’s outside forecast has 15–20 mph sustained wind and 27–36 mph gusts; the Cardinals confirm State Farm Stadium, but the retractable roof position remains unverified. (An NFL inactive-tracker venue label conflicts with both clubs’ game pages and must not override them.) Atlanta’s official event page says roof “Open (Pending Weather),” not a final decision. SoFi’s outside wind is not a measured field-level gust. Later-game outdoor conditions and roof reports still need their own T−90 to T−60 checks. Thunder can affect timing. No generic rain penalty, automatic RB boost or invented points are applied.

Model boundary: This article interprets the reviewed October 10 scoped interim Week 5 board, not a permanent replacement-model certification or Sunday-final FantasyPros file. The Patriots placed Mack Hollins on injured reserve, while the v23 board retains an ACTIVE row. SIT Hollins; do not use that row as Sunday start advice. Seven confirmed unavailable rows and unresolved opportunity trees across New England, Cincinnati, Minnesota and Las Vegas block a clean Sunday-final export. The 11:00 AM CT FantasyPros file handoff is not ready; the old CSV is not a safe upload fallback. No new numerical beneficiary rank is claimed here, and this article is not an upload notice.

Your next move

Start Allen and Swift on their supported roles. Noon lists make Chase, Higgins and Jefferson available and Addison OUT; McLaurin is eligible but needs a snap-limit check. Use Addison’s eligible replacement, preserve a separate late McConkey pivot, and verify every remaining questionable role. A late name on your bench is not a pivot if every alternative has already played.
