The Claim Cleared. Your Next Move Starts on Your Wire.
A sampled claim-night scoreboard, then a position-by-position recovery plan with the status checks that decide whether a leftover is worth a roster spot.

Evidence cutoff: October 21, 2026 · claim/roster samples approximately 11:00 AM CT; official status refresh through the Wednesday final reports. The sampled bids and platform roster shares can change. Thursday inactives, later club reports, local claims/drops and current free-agent lists must be checked before acting. The Week 7 numerical board is a reviewed conditional initial case; this need-first wire order is not a cross-position points rank.
The waiver notification can tell you that your first claim missed; it cannot tell us who is free in your league. Open the transaction log and free-agent list before making a second move. A good pivot fills your lineup hole without creating another one, especially when an early kickoff or a teammate’s return can close the window. The box score brought the snacks; the roster decision still needs a receipt.
01 · Claim-night scoreboard: what the sample actually says
The YAFSB Week 7 Results panel displayed 67,531 bids from 5,761 sampled Sleeper leagues at the approximately 11:00 AM CT retrieval. Its scoring mix was 74% PPR, 24% half-PPR and 2% standard/other (12% TE premium). These are observed sampled bid outcomes expressed as a percent of each league’s starting FAAB budget, not Fantasy Football Brief’s bids, a national clearing price, a current recommended offer, or proof that a player cleared in your league. The panel refreshes and showed a small internal roster-rate display mismatch during retrieval; the player-page bid samples below were inspected directly. All prices are snapshot observations.
| Player in sampled Sleeper panel | Week 7 leagues with a bid | Half-PPR median / 75th-percentile winning bid | Half-PPR panel size | Decision relevance |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Omar Cooper Jr. (YAFSB labels Omar Cooper) | 3,744 of 5,761 (65%) | 16% / 25% | 985 leagues | Observed player result: bidding was active; a new bid should depend on remaining roster value, not trying to replay the sampled winning price. |
| DeMario Douglas | 2,246 of 5,761 (39%) | 8% / 14% | 598 leagues | Observed player result: Thursday role uncertainty matters more than copying the median. |
| Ja’Kobi Lane | 760 of 5,761 (13%) | 3% / 7.9% | 227 leagues | Observed player result: a deep-bench context, not a mandatory chase. |
The panel also lists Kendre Miller with 330 leagues bidding, 5% all-format median and 10% all-format 75th percentile; its linked individual page still served Week 6 early data, so no Week 7 half-PPR Miller price belongs here. Tanner McKee had 219 leagues bidding; his page reported only 62 half-PPR leagues and explicitly withheld a format-specific price. No source verifies your failed claim, winning bid, mistake drop or new free agent. Tuesday’s Waiver Edge FAAB amounts remain earlier editorial recommendations, not Wednesday transactions.
02 · Fantasy Leftovers: search in the order your roster needs
The direct Sleeper pages showed Omar Cooper Jr. 18%, DeMario Douglas 9%, Kendre Miller 47% and Ja’Kobi Lane 26% rostered at the retrieval cutoff. They are platform-wide discovery percentages, not free-agent percentages in your league. Direct current Yahoo and ESPN rates were unavailable after the attempts in the dated addendum; do not substitute Tuesday figures. This is a need-first, within-position search order, with no claim that RB versus WR is settled for every manager.
| Search branch | Full player name / fit | Exact action if the local wire and legal drop cooperate | Evidence, confidence and activation/exit checkpoint |
|---|---|---|---|
| WR need, first search | Omar Cooper Jr., NYJ WR, bench/FLEX upside | Add conditionally if free and replacing an expendable low-role bench piece; Monitor rather than force a Week 7 start against a stronger healthy option. | Official Week 6: 6-103-1 on seven targets. Moderate speculative add, low confidence in an unchanged seven-target role. Adonai Mitchell returned to limited Wednesday practice with a finger injury, while Breece Hall did not practice. Check Friday’s designation and the Jets receiver deployment; a Mitchell return or reduced Cooper routes lowers urgency. |
| RB need, first search | Kendre Miller, NO RB, short-window depth | Add conditionally only if free, the cut is low-cost, and the early Sunday matchup/committee fits the roster; Monitor rather than call him a locked lead back. | Travis Etienne remains on IR after the Saints’ October 1 transaction. The selected case has Alvin Kamara limited at observed Week 6 usage and Miller sharing a committee with C.J. Donaldson. Wednesday’s Saints report listed Kamara (back) and Donaldson (shoulder) limited, but neither has a final game designation; receiving, two-minute and goal-line roles still need review. Moderate for a bench search, lower for a start. Check their Thursday/Friday participation and actual role; the Paris game kicks off 8:30 AM CT Sunday, so decide before that lock. Week 8 bye shortens a short-term fit. |
| PPR/deeper WR need, Thursday branch | DeMario Douglas, NE WR | Hold an already rostered inexpensive bench spot; Add conditionally only if free and his Thursday role beats the real cut/alternative. | Romeo Doubs is on IR; Douglas’s Week 6 7-86-1 is observed, not a fixed forecast. Moderate role interest, lower short-term ceiling with A.J. Brown available. Brown was full Wednesday with no game designation, not out; check Thursday inactives and actual routes. Do not call Douglas automatic target leader. |
| Superflex/2QB quarterback vacancy | Tanner McKee, PHI QB | Add conditionally only if confirmed Week 7 starter, locally free and filling an otherwise unusable QB slot without cutting a useful starter; Monitor in ordinary 1QB. | Jalen Hurts is on IR and McKee started Week 6. His 26-of-45, 215-yard, one-TD line is not a forecast. Moderate bridge-case confidence; check Eagles starter/health report, then compare actual alternatives before Monday’s Dallas game. |
| Deep receiver bench after the above | Ja’Kobi Lane, BAL WR | Monitor; a speculative Add requires confirmed local availability, a genuinely expendable drop and current route/QB evidence. | Sleeper 26% is discovery only; five Week 6 targets do not establish durable target earning. Low add confidence. Check Ravens quarterback/receiver practice and next route usage. |
Stash lane, not Week 7 repair: Jonah Coleman, Jordyn Tyson and Terrance Ferguson were Tuesday return-from-IR ideas. Hold an already rostered stash in a cheap legal bench/IR slot; Monitor official practice activation and ramp before adding or starting. No fresh authoritative clearance or full-role projection was established in the reviewed Wednesday material. Ferguson’s direct Sleeper page displayed 12% rostered but was crawled yesterday, so treat it as stale; the sampled YAFSB hub showed 13% today. Do not turn eligibility into immediate production.
03 · Failed-claim pivots by need
Receiver/FLEX: If Omar Cooper Jr. was actually claimed elsewhere, inspect DeMario Douglas’s Thursday window and Ja’Kobi Lane’s current role rather than assuming their low Sleeper rates make them available. Brown is off the final injury report, limiting a Brown-absence thesis for Douglas; he is a conditional PPR bench search, while Lane is the deeper speculative slot. If you already have a stronger healthy starter, Hold that starter and keep these as bench options.
Running back: If Kendre Miller is unavailable or the needed cut sacrifices meaningful depth, Pass on a forced transaction. Etienne remains on IR; Kamara and Donaldson were limited Wednesday. Their evolving committee and the 8:30 AM CT Sunday kickoff matter more than the sampled all-format bid. A broader Kamara workload or a diminished Miller role lowers urgency. Coleman remains a stash until activation and role evidence; he is not an automatic Week 7 substitute for a missing starter.
Quarterback/tight end: Tanner McKee has a specific Superflex/2QB bridge case, not a universal 1QB upgrade. At tight end, Terrance Ferguson is a future-role monitor pending Rams activation and workload; a manager with an immediate Week 7 TE hole needs an actually active comparison. This need-first order does not import or recast reviewed Week 7 rank/point estimates as a universal waiver order.
04 · Mistake-drop reclaims and Wednesday openings
No named mistake drop, local failed claim or successful reclaim is verified. Search your league transaction log for a quality player someone actually cut, then compare that player with the lowest-value legal cut and your bye coverage. Reclaim only a verified local drop that improves the roster; no made-up star belongs in the headline or action board.
The official Rams Oct. 20 transaction placed Davante Adams on IR and signed Brandon McManus after Blake Grupe suffered a season-ending injury. Those facts do not transfer Adams’s targets or Grupe’s expected kick volume. The Eagles’ Oct. 19 update leaves Jalen Hurts on IR without a return date; it does not supply Tanner McKee’s weekly rushing or passing projection. The Patriots–Bears final report lists A.J. Brown, Drake Maye and TreVeyon Henderson full with no game designation; the Bears ruled Kyle Monangai out. The Saints’ Wednesday report lists Alvin Kamara and C.J. Donaldson limited. The Jets’ Wednesday report lists Adonai Mitchell limited and Breece Hall DNP. Monitor Thursday inactives and the later Saints/Jets reports; participation alone does not settle a role or an active-game status.
05 · Post-waiver trades, drop/hold and expiration
No named Trade For deal or minimum return passes the evidence gate. No asset-complete same-format completed trade, actual local offer, frozen reviewed ACE ROS game-row value or legal before/after lineup gain was obtained for these cases. The FantasyPros chart is an expert proxy, not a completed sale. If a manager proposes a deal, Monitor the full assets, scoring, starters, opened/required roster slot, bye cost and counterparty need before responding; do not claim an injury discount or Week 6 breakout is an observed price. A failed waiver claim is no reason to send a panic offer.
Drop Blake Grupe in ordinary 2026 non-keeper redraft if he occupies a roster slot; the Rams reported his season ended. Check the local active-kicker pool and lock before filling it. McManus is the signed Rams kicker but not an automatic best available stream or a recycled Grupe points line. Hold Jalen Hurts, Davante Adams and Romeo Doubs in an eligible, otherwise unused IR slot; remove them from Week 7 lineups. When no IR slot is available, compare actual bench opportunity cost before any hold/drop decision. No return week or post-return effectiveness is assumed.
The expiration question for every conditional add is concrete: Cooper’s Jets receiving opportunity may change with Mitchell’s return; Douglas’s Thursday value depends on his routes alongside available Brown; Miller’s carries can shrink if Kamara/Donaldson roles change, with a Week 8 bye; McKee’s bridge ends when Philadelphia’s starter situation changes. Recheck the named checkpoint and Hold your stronger healthy alternative when the branch fails.
06 · Final need-first action board
| Decision | Exact instruction and checkpoint |
|---|---|
| ADD NOW | None unconditionally. For a verified WR/FLEX vacancy, check Omar Cooper Jr. first; for RB need check Kendre Miller before his 8:30 AM CT Sunday lock; for Superflex/2QB check Tanner McKee only on starter confirmation; for PPR WR need check DeMario Douglas only for a bench fit after Brown’s full/no-designation final report. Every add requires local availability and an expendable legal drop. |
| RECLAIM | An actually dropped quality player only after your local transaction log confirms the drop. No named Week 7 mistake drop is verified here. |
| STASH | Jonah Coleman, Jordyn Tyson or Terrance Ferguson only when an inexpensive legal bench/IR slot fits; wait for official activation and ramp evidence. |
| HOLD | Jalen Hurts, Davante Adams and Romeo Doubs in otherwise unused eligible IR slots; DeMario Douglas on a cheap existing bench through the Thursday status/role check. Reassess a real bench cost. |
| TRADE FOR | No named priced trade. Evaluate an actual complete offer against reviewed ROS value and a legal before/after lineup. |
| PASS | A bid/copied price sold as today’s required FAAB, a drop of a useful healthy starter for a contingent role, and any claim that a platform roster percentage proves a player is free locally. |
| DROP | Blake Grupe in ordinary non-keeper redraft if he still occupies a roster spot; select an active local replacement after checking the available pool. |
